DF-Design - Digital Filter Design Program
DF-Design is a FIR and IIR digital filter design/analysis program written in ISO/ANSI C, and being developed by Yoji Yamada laboratories of Ishikawa National College of Technology. Being as it was initially created as a tool to be used in the laboratory, the program essentially operates by command line on a UNIX platform (it can also be operated using the command prompt of Windows 2000 and WindowsXP). This design program does not include platform-dependent code, and as such will continue to operate indefinitely regardless of changes in time and OS. Until this point, source code has been provided to multiple enterprises and organizations.
In our web pages, by utilizing the digital filter design program DF-Design employed as a design engine we are offering a digital filter design service for your specifications, free of charge over the internet. We call this Web Edition DF-Design. Web Edition DF-Design offers roughly the same features as Command Line Edition DF-Design (however due to the nature of one of the tools, it is not offered in Web Edition DF-Design). The types of filters possible to design with in Web Edition DF-Design are illustrated in the diagram below.
