Hi everyone,

I need to design an IR transmitter and an IR receiver circuits. But I dont want these circuits to have a lot of useless IC's. Can you please help me finding suitable circuit diagrams, also Spice simulations ?

Thanx..

A simple IR reciever module like TSOP1738
and a IR led driven by 38Khz oscillator (Astable multivibrator using two NPN transitor will do) or u can use IC555 in astable mode with ouput frequency 38KHz.

use a 567 ic and set it up to PLL configuration, look in the datasheet.
use an IR LED and a phototransistor as the detector pair, put the LED on the output pin and the phototransistor on the input pin
