I need to use this TI part to control a User Interface (UI) through I2C interface. Right now I have a UI which I/O 8-bit data. The plan is to use an I/O expander, PCF8574 in particular, the current UI with some modification and a microcontroller--MSP430F155. I probably need to program the microcontroller myself using Assembly language. I've never used Assembly before. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks a lot!

Re: Help with MSP430F155

Hi

See TI app note for MSP430 at www.ti.com/MSP430

Down load TI & IAR kikstart software from TI site

Order a Demo board from TI or a chiper one from OLIMEX site www.olimex.com
Run demo program in C language or assembly

Have a good luck

Bobi
