hi,

i am looking for some 18 dB outdoor cellular base station antenna design information or papers.if anybody has some info/knowledge plz share (ur views/opinions/papers).

with regards
abhi

18 dB gain of antenna depend on coverage area in mobile network to setup by
network designer. Okay why? 18 dB --->

18dB = Ant Gain(Ideal)- Loss in antenna feeder network.
=( 40000/(Hor-beam)*(Ver-beam))-Loss.

Normally mobile base ant use arrays ant, I thing u can find arrays ant Text. In ant for mobile field have another parameter : Beam tilts, Side lobe subpression, Poralization(mormal=>Linear, Dual Polar or single=> Horizontal or Vertica), Beam squint, etc.

If u have any question ==> somkit_4g(at)lycos.com

Have fun.
