HI DEAR,

CAN THE ELECTROMAGNETICS WAVES CHANGE THE CHARECTERISTICS OF ANY MEMORY IC?

ELECTROMAGNETIC

First, at a low level, lost of memory

and if it is very strong, yes. The cases are the EMI effect of general electronic devices, and the electro magnetic pulse of the atomic boms.

ELECTROMAGNETIC

certainly....there exists separate field called
" electromagnetic Interference "(EMI) to deal with such matter

Well it's not like any EM wave would affect any memory IC, but yes there does exist some effect.

The nature of EM waves is known to originate from current and voltage signals passing through any wires. Plus we know that any EM wave could induce currents and voltages in conducting materials based on their frequency, strength of wave, polarity of signal.

So, YES EM waves can affect any IC but mainly depending on it's frequency, materials IC is made of, track dimensions, etc.
