Delta sigma modulator

Hi all,

Could anyone explain in simple words the principles of delta sigma modulator, their advantages.
Any stuff related to this topic is welcomed.

Principle : To track the signal reducing quantization error with higher than Nyquist frequency.

Advantage : To get high resolution with low low resolution component.

It is very difficult to say in a simple paragraph.

However, the key is the signal is almost untoched and noise is shaped by inserting integrator in front of comparator (Assumed that LP)
