print antenna

Hello, guys. I am a college student and new to antenna design.

Right now I am working on a Printed Antenna project on PCB. Last semester I have done some simulations by using Zeland IE3D. Now I am asked to make a PCB and do some measurements.

Since I am not very familiar with the PCB technique, I am wondering what kind of softwares are suitable for making Printed Antenna. And what kind of files or data I need to send to the PCB manufacture? Are there any specifications I need to know before I contact with the manufacture? And how about the price for making a single prototype antenna?

Thanks in advance.

hi
i think ie3d can do the work. and if Mr. Jian is here , he would give your the full answer .

i have a good book about antenna design which can donate

Hi,
I beleive that IE3D is a good choice for printed antenna, for construction a printed antenna, after simulation and optimization, you must to export your antenna layout in dxf or dwg format then after any required modification in AutoCAD, you can send it for preparing photoplot and etching on PCB.
