Hello people
I need a very precise variable voltage source. I have already made one low voltage(0 to 20) version using a MOSFET and OP-07(for feedback) and it works good.
Target Voltage-->OP07->MOSFET -> Output Voltage
.............................. |...............Feedback..............|

but now I need a high voltage version(-40 to +40). also I want to use BJT for new design as I think they will be more precise. I can't use this scheme. the problem is I have to keep noise as low as possible( preferebaly a few microvolts).
I havn't had such problem yet. what is the usual solution in such circumstances when OpAmp swing voltage is not enough. I reviewed IC OpAmp cookbook by walter jung I couldn't find any solution. I will greatly appreciate any help.
