DSP kit does not work

how to check a dsp works or not

I have a problem with DSP TMs320c6711 DSK Toolbox, when i operate a model
contained a simple block of them, i faced an error:
Error using ==> make rtw
Error using ==> c:/matlap6p5/....../ccslink/private/connecttoide_titarget could
not connect to specified board.
Make sure sellected board is properly configured

please i need a solution for this problem

wat is the connector to the board ? i mean is it a serial cable /parallel /jtag/ usb ?

# first check if the cable is connected properly + the powersupply to the board
# check the hardware properties of ur system and verify if the LPT / Serial / USB port are configured.


# U must send a mail to the veendor of the board .. for better assistance....

the DSP TMS320c6711 DSK is connected through a parallel cable, please send me " how could i cofigure the serial port on PC-MATLAB"

i used xpcsetup command on MATLAB, but the problem was the same

there's a software 6713 DSK Diagnostics Utility u can check whether ur board is correct connected! I strongly recommond u to use a higher version of matlab eg 7.04 it will surport ur dsk board much better.
