hi,
how can i shield a net in allegro?
is it possible to define a net to shield with other net and make it automated ?

You can do that in Mentor Board station i.e. assign shield nets. In Allegro, I doubt very much whether we can assign shield nets to the existing nets. But, one way out is, you can export the allegro database to Specctra and then do the required.

You can shield net in Allegro by attaching net property SHIELD _NET to any net as value put the net you want to be used as Shield. Lets sau you want to shield CLK net with GND net put value GND and attach in SHIELD _NET dilaog box also you need to attach what type of shielding you want that is parallel, tandem, or coax?
this you attach in SHIELD_TYPE. Now if you use Router it will shield CLK net by GND with the type that assigned to.
