Lets clarify something: why would you like to write into EProm?
Do you mean EEProm?
As far as flesh program memory is concerned there is no instruction (other then externally program this memory) which allows you to treat it as data memory and write to it..

The first thing, it is EEPROM that i was talking of and not EPROM, my mistake.
My intention is to use the FLASH memory as non-volatile data storage as well as program code. I should be able to store some data permanently as we store in external EEPROM (which could be modified through my code), however do not want to interface any EEPROM for my application.
I know that the FLASH of c8051f0005 controller can facilitate this ... but i need more information about it ...
The type of microcontroller has 005 extention, not 0005..
Goto this site: **broken link removed**
It contains AN129: Writing to FLASH from Application Code..
