how to increase the inverter's delay time Td?

inverter td

the inverter I use is push pull inverter, does increase the pmos and nmos's resistance?
 

yes. you can add a cap,too
 

you can increase the length of inverter and decrease the width . Then the delay of the inverter is longer.

By adjusting rising and falling of the inverter, you can control the delay.


The rising and falling can be adjust using capacitor or W or L of the transistors

You are usually better off to design the overall system so you do not need these tweaks. Process variations (and in the discrete circuit case different lots of parts) will always combine in sneaky ways to ruin your best laid plans.
 

u can increase the delay time by increasing the load capacitance .
