Power supply needs 3 phase mains but we don't yet have that....2 phase instead?

Hello,
We have a rack mount power supply as follows….EA-PSB 91500-30 3U (manual is below)

We don’t yet have a 3 phase supply for it.
In the meantime, do you think we will be able to get any power out of it if we just put a 2 phase (415Vrms) power source into it?
The datasheet doesn’t allude to this, and just requests that a 3 phase supply is used, but we don’t have one, and won’t for some time.

Hi,

There is a good chance that it will work with two phases only (but not: one phase and Neutral)
It may not be able to run at full power.

No guarantee ...

Thanks, yes, we thought the same..we've now tried it and both of the mains phases immediately trip their breaker as soon as we connect up...which is strange because the power supply isnt set up to provide any output power at that stage..........we first connect one phase and nothing happens...we then connect the second phase and switch the second phase on, and at that point the mains breakers both trip out.
We were wondering why this happens.

Input current specification suggests that the power supply is made of three delta connected 400V 5kW AC/DC converters. It can't run from two wire 400V supply (or if at all, with power reduced to 5 kW).
 

On page 10 is written on the technical data for this model that it required only 2 phases and ground, means between main tetminals 380 - 415 Vac and earth for protection. Nothing wrong with that, I have seen in my job converters like this for up to 10 kW.

Look sharp, not this model, only the 5 kW models.
