Does anyone recommend some good books about the design of antenna? I am a beginner, 3ks!

The ARRL Antenna manual is an excellent book for beginners. In case you're not familiar with the ARRL, it stands for "American Radio Relay League". It's been around forever, and it's devoted to amateur radio technology. The book is available from Amazon.com, and almost any decent bookstore.

I think "Antenna theory and design", by Warren L.Stutzman and Gary A. Thiele is a good reference on the subject. It provides basic theory and is easy to follow. It assumes some basic knowledge of electromagnetics and Maxwell's equations though...

Hi,

I second the above mentioned book. I'm using it nowadays and find it very useful. Balanis and Kraus are way too detailed for a beginner IMHO.

read Antennas by Krauss

Antenna's ,Theory & Design By C.Balanis
is a really good book for beginners and its the book we are studying at university

I recommend you the book"Antenna theory and design" by Warren L.Stutzman .
As long as you understand the basic electromagnetic theory that you will find it can be very easy for you to read and get a lot of ideas about the antennas.l
