Hi all,

I would to measure the S parameters of a saw filter. Its input is single and its output is balanced. Is it possible to measure it without using balun. Any materials??Thanks for your help.

There are calculations you can do to convert single ended Spar measurements to balanced measurements. I don't know the link but here is the Maxim app note. Of course there are easier ways then cranking through these complexed equations.

You can do a crude go/no-go test by grounding one of the balance outputs. But your rejection data, will be way off for anything over 20 dB.
