Hi,

Is possible to calculate theorically Swtiching transients from Spectrum due to modulation by taking into account the rising and falling edge of the burst ramp? Is there any theorical calculation of Switching due to transients in GSM?
Is there any paper about this subject?
thank you for your help.

Re: Switching transients

I suggest you can go first glance at ramp shaping function ideally
for best switching spectrum, then next input it into mathcad software where
FFT can be done there, and inspect the offset frequency you want.

For real world ramping curve, you may try as you can to make a formula fitting
you curve than put them into matchcad and redo the things above.

I'm still finding any equipment can get time domain data and any software like mathcad can "Eat" the format of it.

You know ?

Switching transients

i guess you may run simulation, then using some tools in excel or matlab to recover some formula out of the data you get, and could use for your own referrence.
good luck
