Hello there,
I know that the performance metric for an is MACs/sec. My querry is, is this metric going to vary with the word lenth of fixed point numbers ? or with respet to what word lenth MACs/sec is defined?

This will depend on many factors, mostly down to your design, click frequency, part, data rate. Usually you just have a design that works or not.
