Hey guys, my plasma TV from minutes to minutes goes black screen. The thing is when I slam it the TV goes back to normal function but after another period of time it goes black again. It's quite annoying.

My toughts: Possible a bad connection somewhere but How can I be sure where?
If anyone has some tips....

MAIN CAUSES: (From Technical guide)

This may happen when the Main Board is functioning but the X, Y Main Board, Logic Board, or Y Buffer
Boards are not.
- The output voltage of the Main SMPS.
- This may happen when the LVDS cable connecting the Main Board and the Logic Board is disconnected.

These are the main causes according to the technical guide. How do I check the output voltage of the SMPS(Vs and Va)? wich terminals do I check? I can see 2 potentiometer 1 near Va and the other near Vs.

Just checked Va and Vs with all connectors and they are ok.

check the plasma PSU yet?

Hi, What do u mean by check? I checked for bad caps, va and vs.

The main problem is that the image only goes black from time to time wich suggest a momentary problem such a bad connection ... then I slam it and it goes on normal op mode again.

try visual inspection on psu,y board and x board most troublesome units,if not u have to give technical details ,exact voltage as indicated on the sticker @ the back of your screen .
