My SIM808 runs on a LiIon Battery within nominal voltage range. On an incoming calls after a few rings it always outputs "OVER-VOLTAGE POWER DOWN" and shuts down the system. This is happening always since the unit is built in to a conducting enclosure and rarely when it was open on a lab desk.
When the SIM808 was fresh out of the box this did not happen. After a while of usage and several times flashing EAT code it happens always.
I have definitely no over voltage, so I assume that the threshold went out of calibration or is disturbed somehow.
Is there a way to disable or re-adjust the over voltage watchdog?

No, it is 2G GSM.
