dtmf decoder matlab

HI,
Its is my term project to design and implement , in software, i.e. in MATLAB
a DTMF Decoder.
But i have no knowledge more than just introduction abt matlab.
Kindly help me in that. I 'll be very thank ful to u for this act of kindness.
Please send me its Matlab Coding, with comments of DTMF Decoderso thst it will be clear to me that which step does what .

Better search Edaboard first before asking question, I had post same problem just last month.

First you must know the frequencies of each number, after this you must must designe your filter you better choice the fir filters look for command fir1 in matlab, if you're a newbie in matlab just tape in command windows help fir1 it will give you every information about the using of this command
let's know about the advancement of your project okey?!!

I have a simular problem now, i understand what to do i just cant get the code to work. I only need to filter the number one and locate it in a 11 digit phone number. any help would be great. thanks

Start Matlab > Help > and search for DTMF. If you dont find it then search it at Mathworks.com, you'll find a running simulator.

Now you can reverse engineer that to build one for yourself
