Dear All

I have attached a Block diagram of Cypress to Pic controllers having 10 GPIO and 1 UART connections.

Now i am confusing between the Connections.

Cypress is having High sink current capability at the gpios.
same gpio status going to Pic controller to check the status of the Capsense and accordingly pic will take actions.

I dont know how to connect the cypress outputs to Pic controllers.
Kindly help with the schematics.

Cypress Controller:CY8CMBR3108
Controller not yet select: 10-GPIO,1 UART.
Kindly suggest which controller to used.

Thanks
Marx

There are many solutions you could select according to your wish. For instance, you could use the digital blocs of the CY8 device to build some SPI master device, or even use the already built-in I2C master peripheral present. At the PIC side, you could build a soft slave and use some of the interrupt I/O pins to handle the CLK/DATA signals coming from the Cypress. I'm assuming that both uC's are assembled at the same board.
