Is SIM548C is same as SIM908c?

I found that SIM548c and SIM908c are same in pin configuration. So is it possible to use in SIM908 breakout board for data communication as like SIM908c?

Did anybody tried this or have any idea about this?

Here is the datasheets of the both module. I found they are almost same in PIN configuration but its not working. Is there any other issue for making data communication between SIM548c and PC?

You cannot directly use the SIM548 in SIM908 breakout board. There are some modifications on the module, unlike SIM908, SIM548 has separate Power pin for GPS , and one extra Serial UART for GPS, GPS RTC core to help hot Start, etc

but if you are only looking for the GSM part, All the functions are exactly same as SIM908
