dspic33ep512mu814 reset not working

i am printing a count in lcd if i reset the micro the lcd counting stops and micro controller hangs without entering to the main while loop, if i keep on pressing the reset button 2 to 3 times then only its start working, kindly tel me the reason

How have you connected the reset button? I assume you are talking about a button on the \MCLR\ line? If not then you will need to tell us what hardware and software you are using
Do you have a pull-up resistor and/or capacitor on the line as well?
DO you have all of the bypass and other capacitors required to correct operation of that chip in place?
If you create a trivial program (say just a main loop or led flashing code) and try to reset that, do you get the same result?

using ccs compllier if i enable i2c then only i am getting this issue
 

Without seeing your code and the answers to my questions, it is hard to help you further.
I can only guess that there is an issue with the configuration settings (the ALTI1C1 and ALTI2C2 bits play a role here) and how else you are using the pins/peripherals.
I would suggest that you strip away everything back to a trivial program (as I mentioned above) and then add in the parts - perhaps starting with the I2C - until you get the fault and going back to see what just changed and thinking about how that could bring about the effect you are seeing.
