hello. I have a ADC. I have given digital code from it.now how to test it?in fact I want digital code to convert to voltage with matlab or simple calculations and reach gain errors and linearity errors.please helpe me.
thank you very much.

Hi,

first read some ADC datasheets. You will find a alot of specifications.
Decide what you want to test. In the datasheet you will find additional information like "test conditions" and "test circuits". Go through it.

It mostely depends on your application. What is the ADC´s job? DC measurement? AC measurement?
But it also dependson ADC type, sample frequency, resolution and so on....

Hi,

Collect the data on every clock ( either rising or falling edge based on your application) and plot in matlab and after that compare with original signal characteristics.

your answer is true.let me explain another way. I need 3 graph for comparsion .first is ideal graph .second is my result.and 3th should be a graph that my result convert to voltage by DAC.(some calculations).in fact I compare my result with result of
DAC. also my ADC is not completely linear.
