Is there anything physical that happens between current and voltage terminals since they are close to each other on 4-terminal Resistor? . I mean is there any phenomenon that occur between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 , and also between Terminal 2 and Terminal 4 which consequently diminish the contact resistance?
If yes , can you explain if you can ?
Many thanks .
Have a great day.

The question is obscure for me. Can you clarify?
Have you understood the 4-terminal technique and how it solves the problem of contact resistance?
Regards

Z

Suggest you Google Kelvin, and four terminal sensing.
Its a very neat solution to the whole terminal contact resistance problem.
