Help on sync 240 AC generator to the 240 main in your house

Hi all, Does anyone now of good book, ebooks, circuits, links etc on how one would sync the power from a genarator to the power on your ring mains from your house.

basically getting the phases the same so it does not go BANG...

any help would be great thabkyou all

The power distribution company would not allow you to such a thing.
You should to insert some breaker (0-1-2) in distribution panel which will help you to select mains or your generator. In that case you do not need synchronisation.
I have a neighborou who do that.

For literature try to search in solar power , vind etc. and you will find information you need about connecting to mains ( I found ).
