Hello!
I want to replace my car cd player with mobile phone.
I dont have enough space for both so i want to connect mobile phone directly to speakers via custom amplifier and use phone navigation and phone mp3 player.
I have four speaker connections on car audio connector. front (left, right) and rear (left, right). i think that car audio system have embedded filters for
bass and tweeters after cd player connection.
I could make custom amplifier with two IC TDA1553q but i need to split headphone output signal from two to four channels.
Should i connect directly splited signal to tda1553 input or i need to amplify little that signal? How to avoid distortion?
Do you have some suggestions how to make this possible?
Thanks very much!

All cell phones have an earphone connector from which you can take audio signal. Use a resistor voltage divider to get undistorted audio output from your car radio. Find the input for CD player and insert a switch to use either CD or cell phone.
Some car radios have Bluetooth which can use your cell phone directloy wireless. Check the specifications of both.
Cell phone microphone is usually enough sensitive to pick up your talking over some half-meter distance. If your car is noisy, use the "hands-free" connection where microphone is located closer to your mouth.

The TDA12553 amplifier IC is very old and has not been made or available for a long time. Most other amplifier ICs for car radios are also very old and have not been made or available for a long time.
Buy cheap Chinese fake amplifier ICs from ebay.

I haven't played with surround sound for many years. The front speakers on my car radio play the same as the rear speakers.
