Bug in 320x240 lcd module?

Hello, sorry for bad English.
I have a problem with display 320x240 Ampire 320240A1
Whatever type the screen, one area remains empty. Manage it
with microcontroller Pic18f6722.

Please tell me where to look for problems.
I think that is added hardware, but I'm not sure.
This Image is empty zone. Two rows of 50 and 51 pixel.

The problem is (was) in added hardware.
Short circuit in the ribbon cable to the LCD panel (glass). Between two tracks (50, 51) in the horizontal direction.
Manufacturing defect.
