nrz signals

hi

I want to know how to generate random NRZ signals in Cadence IC design tool.
I want to simulate the transient output of my CDR circuit. And want to input random NRZ signal into it.
Also, I want to plot the output as eye diagram.
I want to know how to do above things in the Cadence IC environment.
Thank you.

We've done this buy using a PRBS generator to generate the NRZ signals. You can either do it in schematic form or use veriloga, which we use. To generate the eye diagram, use the [SPECIAL FUNCTION] tab on the calculator and there is an eyeDiagram button. Else, if you have the rfLib, there is an eye_diagram_generator symbol/verilog that you can use too.

Thank you for the useful info.
For I am not familiar with veriloga, could you post the code to generate the signals?
