Hi,

In previous versions of cadence virtuoso, i used to plot the transistor region of operation from edit> component display. Now in the newer version 6.1.6, i cannot find this option anymore. Can anybody tell how i can annotate transistor regions of operation.

Regards

Hi you can see it from DC operating points table from the toolbar on the schematic screen or you can use calculator and use "op" then choose the device you want to know the region.

thanks

Hi I still can't find any option in to toolbar or in the 'op' function which can be used in the older version. Could you be a little bit more specific about it? Thanks.

Hi

Have you tried the calculator you can find it there.

or use this function

OP("instance name","region")

for example if you have MN1 as your instance name of the MOS then you have to use

OP("/MN6","region")

thanks
