Dimension Edit Button in Cadence Allegro is deactivated.

Hi All,

I ran into an issue in Allegro where the Dimension button is deactivated, therefore, I am not able to add dimensions to the board file. has anyone had this issue before? Please see attached pictures.

Also, When I try to add a Linear Dimension I get a message in the command window that the command does not exist. see attached.
