I'm looking for the protocol that has been used in the analog fax devices and want to communicate with them to change that to digital. is there any board or chip that do this for me? where can I find information about the protocol. Tnx
 

Thanks Fvm For your reply. I'm looking for Group 1 and 2 and I want to understand the protocol and message to send them into my computer
 

Standards T.2 and T.3 are no longer available at ITU-T. Some basic parameters of the analog transmission are however described in present standard T.1 Standardization of Phototelegraph Apparatus.
 
Would you please give me some good source and reference about the signaling and protocol.
