i have taken a round ferrate core in that i wounded a 20 turn insulated copper wire as secondary and connected the 2 terminals of the secondary to 100 ohms .5w resistor. now i have set the multi-meter in ac voltage mode and connected across the 2 terminals of the resistor. for primary i have taken a 1.5 sq mm wire and made 2 turns in the ferrate core.

my load is variable temperature hot air gun. in the primary side i have connected the hot air gun as load and measure the voltage in the secondary. i found for speed 1 i got .7 ac volt , speed 2 i got .55, and speed 3 i got .45 as the current in the primary increases the voltage decrease why this is happening? the voltage must increase if the current increase this is the rule why this is not coming i am doing any thing wrong kindly help

finally i removed the 100e resistor in secondary and connected a ammeter across the secondary, now if i connect the primary to load for speed1 i am getting 30ma in ammeter, for speed2 i am getting 68ma and so on as primary current increases the secondary ma also increases

Try to use WCS1800 current sensor ferrate core type

can i get in chennai india. if you know the place please share
