Hi friends...,
I try to design automatic pipe bending machine..,

I design 1 inch Steel cod leg pipe bending machine. I using & motor
1. Servo motor.(because pipe bending is angle rotation
other is Stepper moter..,
but my problem is how to drive High power Motor drive and how to control this motor using Microcontroller..,

plz help me brother..,

Hi Jagan,

Each motor has a way how to drive it. Specially if you want to control its speed or torque.
So, we need more information:
What motor you need to drive? (Type, torque, size, etc)
What control you need? (speed, torque, etc)

first off all design the mechnical chassis and geartrain ... then calculate the motor torque required . use dc servo motor or stepper it is the same , i recommend dc servo over stepper ... buy from the same company a driver to match the servo motor.

this driver takes pulse/dir input they are generated from a differnet board that is connected to PC which using a G code to move the motors ..

hope that helps.

look bro you seem to have too little information about the subject , so i donot adivse you to start it unless you are just a hobbist and trying and learning ... you will face too many problems and you need experience engineers to help.. take care]
