vhdl code for traffic light
Dr. Z. Navabi has a book on VHDL which has many sample vhdl codes from simple state machines to microprocessor core. I don't rememer the exact name of the bood, but if you search in amazon with his name and VHDL you can find it.

vhdl traffic light
you can download the Programmable Logic Design Quick Start Hand Book from the XILIX website. It has a complete example traffic light design. It is basically in the form of a tutorial.
