Can anybody explain what is a clock definition point in the design

More information in your question will help?
Like : Where you want to define the clock. Like PD or STA or simulation?

Always make it point to ask questions specific to topics. Some more points would help.

However, i think i know what you mean.
Clock definition point is any point in the design which you define as the clock source. There are mainly 2 types of clocks 1> Master clock 2> Generated clock. The master clock usually comes from a port (usually LDO/ clock generating block outside the block) abd generated clock is usually defined either on divider/ clock-gate/ flop output pin. In latter case, the output pin of the clock is the clock definition point.
