hai friends,

Is there any use of MATLAB or LABView in Embedded Controllers. if yes, What is the application of MATLAB/Labview in Micro-controller, how to start to study MATLAB/ Labview ? which one is mostly used ?? which of MATLAB/LABView will be better??

thank you in advance.

I think Mathlab and Labview are a lot of simulation software...
mathalab is maths based

Mathlab is used for Data Exploration ,Acquisition ,Analyzing &Visualization, Engg drawing and Scientific graphics, Analyzing of algorithmic designing and development, Mathematical functions and Computational functions, Simulating problems prototyping and modeling, Application development programming using GUI building environment.etc

Mathlabs can be communicate with controller through ports(esrial ,parallel ,usb) and can be dispaly, tabulate ,etc via mathlab GUI application.
Example : http://www.instructables.com/id/MATLAB-to-PIC-serial-interface/

labview is instrumental based simulation software.
