Hi
I've come across the term of imbalance monitoring in Gysel power divider and I dont know its meaning and also why Gysel has this feature while Wilkinson has not?
Thanks for any help

well, it has 5 ports. so if you replace the 2 50 ohm loads with 2 power sensors, then any imbalance will show up as non-zero power at one of the detectors.

ok. but why we cannot use this power sensors in Wilkinson power divider? is it hard to implement or sth like that?

is this a trick question? Since a wilkinson has only 3 ports, there are no extra ports for power sensors.
