Hello,

I need help converting a schematic file from 16.3 format to 16.2 format. I've tried "File > Save As > Capture 16.2 Design (*.DSN)" but it just seems to delete my *.DSN file in my project directory. What do I need to select/highlight in the file page tab in CIS to get this to work?

I've tried to export using "File > Export Design >" but I get a an entry box that has two tabs, EDIF and DXF, and no mention of the 16.2 format.

Can someone please advise me, I am up against a deadline and I think this should be a fairly simple issue.

Thank you

why dont you just open the dsn fine ( no project etc) and then save as 16.2.

I tried. It doesn't save it. It deletes the *.DSN file and then says it can't find it. Do I need to highlight or select some particular thing to get this to work?

I had the same problem.
Try to delete ALL graphics from design/schematic ( .bmp., .jpg, .png ....) and then try to save in 16.2 format.
Worked for me.
