control servo motor with pc (GUI)

hai,

I need to develop a serial port comm using vc++ mfc for controlling servo motor,but here I am not using a mcu instead of this I bought a servo controller card,but i dont how to develop a gui for control this,normally I think after developing mcu program & interface with PC using serial port.So anybody give a solution for this.

Can anyone tell what is the basic steps for interfacing a hardware to pc.

To be of any assistance you need to specify the exact servo controller card in use.

Providing the user manual or datasheet for the device would also be helpful.

thank you, actually I boss didnt give any details about the servo controller,he asked to create a gui for servo motor by giving sound as input throuhg serail port, so any other solution is there.
