Hi,

I want to design a switched filter phase shifter using FET for the switch in 9,4 GHz Band. Does anyone has some idea about it.

Here's a variable phase shifter I've been playing with in a simulator. You can dial in several degrees advance, or several degrees lag.

The schematic shows the necessity for some amount of impedance at the input, and for some impedance to ground, and for some connection between the leading and lagging outputs.

The resistor values are not critical.

You must select a capacitor and resistors with values suitable for your frequency of operation.

How to switch between two positions... maybe you would put the FET parallel with a resistor.

thanks for your reply it's really helpful,
and also i want to ask you something, does filter approximation like butterworth, chebysev, etc. is considered in designing switched filter phase shifter??

Sorry, I am not familiar with switched filters. I suppose you are talking about a switched capacitor filter?

A search shows a connection with the various types you mention. Also different order numbers.

In case this is relevant, here is a screenshot of a simulation with scope traces. I found the circuit included at www.falstad.com/circuit.
