hi Friends ,

Can anyone tell me how should i go for power dissipation calculation in Tanner EDA...............If you can please reply via this thread. I am eagerly Waiting for it.

Hi Hussain

What do you mean by that ?

Dear Goldsmith,

I take an example to explain you...........i want to calculate the power dissipation for an cmos inverter when it switches from 0 to1 and 1 to 0 5 times consecutively. Did you provide me the basic expression of Tspice that are used to calculate Power Dissipation.

Hi again
Unfortunately i don't have any experience with Tspice ( i just can work with Pspice and LT spice )
Regarding , CMos inverter gate power dissipation calculations :
Ploss = VDC^2/2RL + C*VDC^2*F .
Good luck
Goldsmith

Can anyone let me know how do i calculate the dynamic and static power in tanner ...are there any spice commands involed..?
