Dear All Expert,

I need a ultra low power microcontroller to be used in a alkaline AAA 3V battery operated wireless remote controller. I need it to shut down at all time until a certain pushbutton is pressed.

I also need it to had a inbuild wireless transmitter that is Zigbee compliance, as I need to send AT commands.

Do you came across any microcontroller that had this function?

If we do not have any in-build transmitter microcontroller, what is a good microcontroller that can be used as a wireless remote controller? Thanks a lot for all your information.

there is no inbuilt transmitter for general micro controllers for the compact applications you can use arduino (atmega328) which is pretty easy to code and also has i2c protocol facility to communicate through xbee module or you can also go with arm processors if application is high end

Type in gooogle:
Silab zigbee

Have a look at the STM32W family, or go for TI if you prefer classic 8051.
