Dear All,

I've designed some antennas in CST and HFSS software but I'm going to add some components to them. I exported Gerber files in CST from them.
Now, I'm going to Import it into Altium Designer and add some components or modify the PCB layout. I tried several times but I couldn't.
Would you please let me know how can I import and modify HFSS or CST files in Altium Designer as the PCB layout document?

Maybe if you have exported your model to DXF in CST and then importe to Altium, it may not work because DXF (in CST 5.0 atleast) is 2D and all layers may not have been exported precisely.

What I would suggest is to export the file in *.step or *.sat. Then may be you will have to again convert this to DWG using any CAD / CAM softwares and then import to Altium.

If gerber format is available to import in Altium, thats the best approach.

Dear ,

Indeed I tried with gerber, but the problem is that I can open it, but it's impossible to open in PCBdoc format, so you cannot modify it. I need to convert to one format which be readable as PCB document.
