Maybe you can use the linkport. I have done a design with a TigerShark DSP interfaced with a xilinx virtex2 FPGA using the core provided by xilinx that implement the Lynkport. The required performance of the link b/w FPGA and DSP was not so high, so we avoid to interface the FPGA directly mapping it on the DSP bus. We use an evaluation board from Memec for the DSP and we build a board with the FPGA. Pay attention that not all the linkport protocol is handled by the xilinx core, making a full duplex link can be a problem. I hope this help you. Bye
