Could any one give mathematical expression for the vector field in the presence of a source/sink such that when the divergence of that vector is calculated, the numerical value matches with the source/sink scalar value multiplied by the volume in which such a scalar quantity is enclosed.

Any modifications in the question are welcome.

Thanks,

Thanks for your time pal. I'm familiar with the math around divergence. I'm looking practical validation of it. Example of a field with sources present in the region whose divergence value matches with the source present in the volume. Correct me if i interpreted your answer wrongly.
