i bought this from olimex .where i have to give power supply . pin 78 and 80 or any else.

See datasheet:

https://www.ti.com/product/msp430fg439

According to datasheet:

AVSS 78 is Analog supply voltage, negative terminal. Supplies SVS, brownout, oscillator, comparator_A, port 1, and LCD resistive divider circuitry.

DVSS1 79 is Digital supply voltage, negative terminal.

AVCC 80 is Analog supply voltage, positive terminal. Supplies SVS, brownout, oscillator, comparator_A, port 1, and LCD resistive divider circuitry; must not power up prior to DVCC1/DVCC2.

The Olimex and Sparkfun ones have the same connections. That's because they're the same board.

https://www.olimex.com/dev/msp-hg439.html

So, use the connections mentioned above.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

when i was working in msp430f449 i have shorted avcc and dvcc and gave a supply of 3.4v...then shorted avss and dvss and grounded. This has worked out fine
but in msp430fg439 when i did the same its not working out?
could some one tell me the correct pin to give supply for msp430fg439?
