Hi,
We are looking for freelance staff that have experience with McASP units, Linux PSP and ALSA audio.
Your job will be to
1). extend the current McASP/PCM drivers to support serializes for four stereo pairs of 24-bit 96kHz (DIT mode) output on McASP3 (for 7.1 audio digital).
2). extend the current McASP/PCM drivers to support serializes for four stereo pairs of 24-bit 96kHz (i2s mode) output on McASP4 (for 7.1 audio digital).
3). make relevant changes to EDMA setup portion to support 1).
4). make sure McASP hardware registers are set up correctly.
5). add relevant support to a new ALSA driver and present McASP3 and McASP4 as a 7.1 capable sound cards.
The DM814x technical reference manual has the relevant information along with the source code for the most recent PSP.
