Looking for tusb6250 firmware

I'm interesting in the tusb6250 chip (USB 2.0 to ATA/ATAPI Bridge Controller) but on the TI site, i can't find any firmware bin or source code.
I think that the firmware is given with the evaluation board but I'm a student and I can't spent 100$ to have it...

If someone know where I can find it, thanks to inform me !

I don't advice to get to envolved with this component . The new serial IDE devices are already out o pretty soon old ATAPI will be a matter of the past .And knowing TI .. they will kill it without merci ( i mean they will discontinue it very quickly)

Just my opinion .I wanted to make a hardrive data scrambler ( swapping the Data lines ) al people that i talked about said ATAPi is dead .. Well that was 2 years ago!

That is defentlig true...

i just have some of the uC and want to play arround it for my self, not to do a production of it..

and... when the new sata comes more into the picture i can get bigger cheaper disks for my home stuff...

tusb6250 evaluation

We are using TUSB6250 for interfacing USB with compact flash. I have received a hex code for compact flash. It's attached. My circuit is not working. The same circuit works fine with a hard disk. has anybody got any experience in TUSB <-> Compact flash inteface?

Does anybody have a source code equivalent to the hex file that I am attaching?
