hi everyone

I'm trying to build a power supply with output 48V / 40 A .

Is there any help ??

I hope so that You realize trafo needs. About 2KW trafo needed if (50Hz), better consider switcher power supply.
Torus in my country is about 160eur and for 2KW is about 11kg of weight.

I supose that You need this for Arc Welding ? :wink:
 

I want to do it my self at home but i don't know any kund of regulator ICs can provide this output :!: :-(

You cant use direct regulator IC for that they dont have enogh power for that job. They must be used with strong transistors.
